Gilded daydreams in my bedroom window again. I love October light.

The mask is sitting upon one of my most treasured thrift store finds ever. I wish I knew more about the jewelry box. It is very old. All of the stones are original, and intact They are more rounded than modern cut glass. It is lined in mulberry purple velvet that is faded with age. If anyone knows of this kind of antique, I would love to hear from you.

Aimee’s artwork has been featured in Advanced Photoshop Magazine, ImagineFX, and others. Her work can be found internationally as a greeting cards through Tree Free Greetings, cross stitch patterns through HAED, and jigsaw puzzles by such companies as Buffalo Games, Mega Puzzles, and more! These are now available at Walmart, Fred Meyer, and more. Aimee is currently working on her first children’s book featuring whimsical animals, slated for release in 2012.

Somewhat quixotic, yet calming at the same time… I’m truly impressed
