Hello all! Thank you so much for your wonderful compliments and words of support for my artwork! As usual, I am behind on getting around to everyone to thank them, but I will soon, I promise!

Until then – here is a photograph I snapped this morning, out my bedroom window. Sunrise over Cashmere, Washington….with clouds and mist sandwiching it all in velvet purple softness.

Aimee’s artwork has been featured in Advanced Photoshop Magazine, ImagineFX, and others. Her work can be found internationally as a greeting cards through Tree Free Greetings, cross stitch patterns through HAED, and jigsaw puzzles by such companies as Buffalo Games, Mega Puzzles, and more! These are now available at Walmart, Fred Meyer, and more. Aimee is currently working on her first children’s book featuring whimsical animals, slated for release in 2012.

Where is Cashmere? I’ve lived in WA all my life and never heard of it. Is it on the east side of the state?

  • Hi Jessica! Cashmere is east of the mountains so to speak. If you have ever been in Leavenworth, the little Bavarian village – then you were just a few miles away from Cashmere. Just at the foothills of the Cascades. It is also by Wenatchee, and about 45 minutes from Lake Chelan. :D

Oh yes, I’ve been to Leavenworth a few times. I’ve also been to Wenatchee multiple times as well. I bet it’s beautiful there… that whole area is beautiful. I live near the Puget Sound on the west side. ;) So that is a fairly long drive for me.

  • Then you’ve driven right past Cashmere, as we’re right between them. :D I’m going to be posting a panoramic shot here in a couple of days of Cashmere. I bet you’ll go “Oh yeahhhh!” when you see it. lol It really is just a little blip on the map though, heheh. But yeah, that is quite the drive! I wish I was closer. It’s a pain to drive over the mountains for any kind of city fun. :D And Cupcake Royale! lol
