“Mr Wegg, if you was brought here loose in a bag to be articulated, I’d name your smallest bones blindfold equally with your largest, as fast as I could pick ‘em out, and I’d sort ’em all, and sort your vertebrae, in a manner that would equally surprise and charm you.” – Mr. Venus, Articulator – from the book Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens
I love the picture and the quote from Dickens. It has to be one of the best Dickens quotes ever!
It’s so true. Everyone needs an Articulator in their lives, in order to sort and combine whatever stray bones they might have lost along the way…heheheh
Thank you Leanne! This is one of those ones that was a real labor of love. I’ve always adored that quote by Charles Dickens about the Articulator… and I had taken the photo of the old abandoned house. So when I found the great stock photo of the bird, it just all came together. :D
I really did Adam! I had been wanting to do something special with the abandoned house shot I took a few weeks ago. I also had been wanting to create something based on that Dickens quote. Once I saw the bird…well, it all fell into place…heh!
