Look closely…..
—-—-——-
This is a composite image, created with a photo I shot while standing atop Warwick Castle, in England. The landscape is from the photo. I then added the turbulent clouds, and the little horse. I then processed the image in a way similar to tilt-shift photography, to give that odd appearance of looking like a train model. I love that look, and I hope you do too!

Wow, is this real? It almost looks like a model and you’ve added the BG sky.
Well done …....no matter how you did it.

Thank you Leah!!
To demistify this one a bit, it actually is a composite image. :D I took the landscape photograph while standing atop castle Warwick in England. They have the most amazing fields there, with ancient trees that are protected by law – so people simply have to work around them, rather than cut them down. I then added the dramatic sky, and the galloping horse. :D The miniature technic is such a fun one… called tilt-shift. I have several more I will be posting soon done with this technic, and it always ends up looking like a little model train set. :D
Thank you for the lovely compliment!

It seems like you look into a box with a landscape in it, you used to make when you were a kid…the little looking trees, the running horse and the blurry foreground makes it perfect. Gorgeous image!
Foxfires replied
Thank you Arie! You have it exactly right – I wanted it to appear just like one of those little boxes… my grandmother used to make those for me! I’m so glad that you like it! :D

Excellent job with fantastic results. This really does look like a model in a way I`ve never quite seen before. I think it`s really cool when some off the wall technique brings us something new and unusual. This is way interesting, and a breath of fresh air in a field where we thought we`d seen everything.
Foxfires replied
Thank you Billy! I’ve been experimenting with this technique for awhile, and it always produces the most unique results. The cameras that actually take these sorts of photographs are, of course, far too expensive… but duplicating it in Photoshop is a fun alternative!
I’ll be posting more of these soon. Thank you again for such a day-making compliment!
