Let us try this bizarre thought of having more empathy, more forgiveness and lets see what it feels like to make some else’s happiness more important than our own.
Why do we do it, when in fact such negative feelings make us feel miserable and unhappy. Our normal tendency is to seek happiness elsewhere, which will only be short-lived, when this negative mind takes over again to make us say and do things that we later will regret.
Sadly by that time we have inflicted the pain upon others, it is too late even for sorrow. These negative outbursts, only delivers more misery for ourselves and others. So why are we punishing ourselves?
Perhaps we need to try a different route and become determined not to let that negative mind rule us and ultimately make us miserable with it.
