Christmas Cheer to All - Especially the Lonely
I just had a moment, thinking that we are so busy making our Christmas preparations..
Wrapping presents, ordering our turkey or whatever special meal we are preparing, filling out cards and decorating our homes for these festive days.
In our rush to prepare for this elaborate celebration, we sometimes forgot the people who may not have any family to spend Christmas with, but spend it alone in their home. No presents to unwrap or share a Christmas hug with loved ones.
Many can not afford to celebrate Christmas, as they just do not have any money to spend on elaborate Turkey meals and expensive decorations, but just have enough money for a little food and pay the fuel for their heating.
People who suffer a life threatening or even a terminal illness, who may not even survive this Christmas, or people who look after someone like that.
These may even be people here on Redbubble, with whom we exchange comments and journals, who display their beautiful art and wishing us joy and happiness. Who cheer us up with their good humour, despite hardship, throughout the year.
Let us at least give them some thought and love on that day.
If we suspect that someone may belong to the lonely, ill or poor here on RB, maybe we should, take some time out, more than just a prayer, on Christmas Day and give them some Christmas cheer by saying HI, or make them a gift by buying some art from them.
Whichever way you choose to show your love, I wish you all

P.S. The words are very true…and I know of many people like that…the holidays are to be joyous, but some don’t find it as joyous as others do. In a time like this, it seems even worse. It’s sad that the food pantries are even running out of food…
