Yes, we are very lucky that these wild ponies able to enjoy the freedom to roam wildly. If it was not for a Royal decree, these horses would no longer exist, as farming and encroachment by man would have made these wonderful creatures extinct.

When I feel really low, I drive t the New Forest and new wild forest ponies and it immediately lifts my spirits.
The Forest it is not that new, it is more than ten thousand years old, to watch the wildlife in particular the wild forest ponies.

Studying animal behaviour is another hobby of mine. I have a real love for all creatures large or small and by trying to understand them from their perspective, makes every photograph I take of them, so much more than just a two dimensional image.
