Kampung Kling mosque built 1872 to replace an earlier mosque constructed from timber in 1872. Kampung Kling mosque is of traditional design with elements of Sumatran, Chinese and Melaka Malay influence. The minaret, for example, has the shape of a Chinese pagoda. Government conservation works on the mosque were completed in 1999.
