San Francisco is full of wildlife and it doesn’t matter what part of the City or Bay Area one lives in, there is wildlife near you and very close. It’s amazing what you can find and see in this area, if only one would take the time to break away from the modern world to flash back to the simple things that don’t require a data plan. This precious moment of these Bufflehead ducks (thanks Carla for the ID!) was captured in a SF marshy area with a Canon EOS 7D with Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5 IS L lens with a Tamron 1.4 teleconverter. Species of duck unknown at this time; if you know which type of duck this is, I’d appreciate the assistance in IDing these wonderful ducks!
