The Star of Filbert Street by

With the tall steeples of Sts Peter and Paul Church in the foreground, the red and white lights of moving cars lines the steepo hilly streets of San Francisco’s North Beach. Filbert Street at the top – seen here – is one of the steeper inclines of North Beach but is almost appreciated by locals and visitors alike, as a grand spot for photographs of Coit Tower and the surrounding area. Captured in the frigid clear air with my Canon EOS 7D with Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5 IS L lens, with the visible star caused by a vehicle’s headlights stopped at the top of Filbert Street
