I love getting out and about just before night-fall during the holidays as the City is so draped in lights after sunset. I love seeing the lights slowly come on after the sunset since once again it’s time of the year for San Francisco as many other major international cities come alive at night with special holiday lighting. It’s been the tradition for some years to light-up the Embarcadero waterfront, the Financial District and other well-known SF landmarks. This year I’ve noticed Fisherman’s Wharf has put up some lights too… and not seen in this image which overlooks Chinatown in the foreground. I still think those sea-crabs look funny in a Santa-suit though! Come to the City by the Bay to see the Lights and feel the Spirit!
