Fog-Draped Telegraph Hill by

San Francisco is known for its fog which is apparent most during the summer than the winter but last night the rising full moon – while gorgeous to watch – was hidden in a thick fog-bank so I looked below instead to North beach and Coit Tower atop Telegraph Hill. Coit Tower is bathed in orange in support of the SF Giants in their World Series sweep to win the championship. Enjoy this foggy glowing scene from atop Lombard Street!

Five minutes after this scene was recorded, the fog came in thicker and not even the orange Coit Tower could be seen! Image captured with a Canon EOS 7D with a Tamron Aspherical XR Di LD (IF) f/5.6 28-300
