Today a lot of San Francisco landmarks are bathed in orange light as they have been for days and weeks, and I am assuming most visitors to my hometown don’t even notice… or if they do, are unaware of the reason. Today is the first day of the San Francisco Giants playing with the main goal of winning again the World Series as they did two years ago. The whole City is behind them, the mayor is behind them, the Muni buses have had their destination window with GO GIANTS displayed also, and fire trucks each have SF Giants flag flying when they respond to a call. Two days after winning the National League pennants in a pouring-down heavy rain, today the Giants won 8 – 3 over the Detroit Tigers, and tomorrow will play the Tigers again…. have you got the Giants fever in you too? If not, enjoy this image of Coit Tower bathed in orange!
