Crescent City Battery Point Lighthouse by

Pelicans fly past the Battery Point Lighthouse which has served as a navigation aid since 1856. The Battery Point Lighthouse in Crescent City (northern California) is surrounded by water most of the day but when the tide goes out, it is open to visitors if you don’t mind a little water!
