Embarcadero Center ~ San Francisco by

this lovely scene – taken from a passing cloud – shows the Embarcadero Center and parts of the Embarcadero lit at night with the Bay Bridge at right, and Yerba Buena Island and Treasure Island. to explain, eastbound traffic on the bridge is on the lower level of the bridge, and inbound westward (entering SF) traffic is on the upper level of the bridge, to give reasons why there are lines of white and red on the Bay Bridge for those not familiar with this City and the bridge. the light pier at far left reflecting in the waters is Pier 7 and the boat just right of that pier is of the Hornblower tour boats at its mooring pier.

this is an unedited image taken with a tripod-mounted Canon EOS 7D with a EFS 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS lens
iso 200 f5.6 at 6 secs exposure
