Not a posed scene, I am standing about a foot away from this flame of a candle carried by a young nazareno. Along with the candle moving constantly, people walking by me in front and behind me (the back of a candle keeps hitting me unknowingly by its holder, to the delight of those nearby watching) and the flame dances as it is whipped by winds on this Jueves Santo de Semana Santa in Rota, Spain. Handheld image captured with a Canon EOS 40D sporting a EFS 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS lens and posted within an hour of its being recorded. In trying to freeze this moment, I had to switch to manual focus due to the lens not focusing well due to the darkness.
