God Fog
A bit of the spiritual side… I wrote this after standing on the back deck for a few wonderful moments this morning… AMEN

Entrenching the earth
Lies dormant
Unmoving
Yet yielding.
Vision is limited
In the eyes.
The ears not so much
Although muffled
One hears life moving on.
The stillness of God
Seemingly hidden
Reaching out
Finding me
Lost in the fog.
The damp chill
Creeps under my shirt
Sending a shiver
Through my chest.
Ever present –
She is.
