Inspired by the fabulous dahlias of Cee Neuner I decided to shoot the ones in my rural Canton, New Jersey, USA garden 08-July-2010. This particular one did not bloom last year, so I have yet to research variety, I hope to capture them as beautifully as hers some day! This photo is untouched and was taken handheld, raw, with a Nikon D90 DSLR, Sigma 105 mm macro lens, f/8, ISO 400, 1/800 sec, +0.7 step, white balance manual.
