My first successful attempt at Infrared. Inspired by the awesome shots in the infrared groups. Captured a dawn shot of the Maskell Mills Pond, Canton, New Jersey, USA with the trees reflecting (down the road in our rural town). Scene mostly green. White balance set to green with a photo of grass in my Nikon D5000 with a Nikkor 70-210 mm lens, focal length 210 mm, 720 nm Hoya Infrared Filter, tripod mounted, aperture priority, f/45, exposure 30 sec, ISO 400, exposure +4.5 steps. Post work-color fade only in Corel Paintshop Pro 3. Taken April 30 and uploaded May 8, 2010.

I love to photograph anything seaside and colorful! I am exploring many artforms and love the work of many here on Redbubble! I call all my dabblings “Kim’s Kaboodle”. I am also making mosaics from glass tiles and other media, drawing and painting. My art can also be found at link
