Join me at the Juried Invitational Exhibition…

I am very excited to have my art selected for the special Earth Day celebration theme to exhibit in SoJie 10. SoJie 10 takes its name from the Solo Exhibition group’s Juried Invitational Exhibition. This month is only the 10th one, ever, and 100 other artists, besides myself, are represented.

Winners of the invitational will be announced on April 27th, when a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in three categories: digital art, photography, and traditional art.

Non members, as well as members, ARE welcome to view all of the work nominated. So I hope that you will click the show banner, above, and follow the link to view my fellow exhibitors. The works are shown “gallery size” and are beautiful, seen together.

If you do not belong to the group, Solo Exhibition, you cannot participate in commenting; and joining to comment is not encouraged. But you CAN lend support by commenting in my journal, here, about the show.

The Fisherman is a very appropriate, if not slightly off-kilt humorous warning about how it could be (and literally how it is) in certain parts of the world, when toxic by-products of industry pollute the water from which we derive sustenance.

Will the last one please turn out the lights is one of those shocking appeals. Who would want to turn out the lights! No one I’m sure. Yet, we are the single life form on the planet who can make it or break it for many species, including our own.
