Really nice … Love a bit of lomo.
milja
This reminds me of a bazaar dream i had not so long ago. where was this taken? very creepy but i like it a lot!
Rhys Allen
Thanks James (although I have to be a nit picker and point out that a holga isn’t a lomo as decalred by one of my mad lomo/holga mates – http://www.flickr.com/photos/rob_birze/sets/72157594152039537/)
milja, thanks – i’ve seen this shot so often in the last few weeks I’m starting to have bad dreams about it too! It was taken in South Australia, somewhere down in the south east corner – sorry can’t be more specific!
Juilee Pryor
Now this is what I would call a seriously good photo! Mmmmm Mmmm. I like it. I’m thinking very low res maybe plastic or toy analouge camera. Or IR film with the opaque filter hand held over a fully extended long lens. whatever or how ever you have done this, it really rocks. Well done Rhys …again!
Jaye Loring
OoOh rhys I likey!
Adrian Rachele
Yes, love the mood.
Paul Vanzella
This is almost like a set from the Wizard of Oz! The grass looks so soft and trees look so evil… great image!
Rhys Allen
hah – maybe i should have called it ‘treevil”
Cameron Stephen
I love this, but you know that already! Everyone should see this hanging at the Kerala Gallery…
whoever is reading this that hasn’t – Go – Now!

Should add,
That I love it both visually for what it does to the image; and as a part of th ephoto and the experience of th ephoto and wht it conjures up in the mind.
Top Work Rhys.

Hayley Lees

InfinityRain
Absolutely wonderful, like walking right into a story book. Makes me want to see where the pathway leads.
Helene Kippert

violesque
really beautiful image – it has a very haunted quality to it :)

Ditto ditto. What strikes me are the wonderful cumulous clouds on the horizon offsetting the gnarly path nicely. Thanks

Just heard that there are doing another one in feb.

This is still my favourite image on RedBubble. Could you recommend something to hang next to it on my lounge room wall/have you taken any other shots in the same style?
earthjammedia
great capture, has a completely otherworld feel about it
Rhys Allen
Hi all – thanks for the continuing interest in this shot..
@Sasufi – unfortunately no, no sales at the Light Leaks exhibition – but lots of interest… I ended up selling this shot later to a friend who was giving it as a house warming (creeping?) present
@Kate – wow, thanks! Big call with so much quality stuff in the bubble, appreciate you saying so. As to other things in a similar vein, I do actually have a few more with a similar feel, (from the holga of course) – I’ll post a few up next week.
Kelsey Williams
A beautiful picture, this is striking and amazing! It has inspired a landscape in one of my stories that I am currently writing, I hope you don’t mind. -Kay Dee
