I Spent part of my Saturday at the sanctuary practicing my panning shots for the upcoming waterfowl migrations. During the summer the geese are kind of lazy and the ducks kind of molt and lose their beautiful colors for a couple of months and aren’t the prettiest things to photograph. In the fall that all changes. Along with the ducks getting their beautiful bright colors back, the trees begin to change as well and turn into some of the best backdrops you will ever see. Another advantage to this time of year is all of the colors reflecting off of the water adding to the richness of the photos.

What started as a once and a while hobbie has turned into an every chance I get out passion for photography. I love the outdoors and whenever I’m out I have my camera with me. I hope you enjoy the images I have captured and thank you for visiting.
