This past week was my first time visiting Yellowstone National Park. I spent the week with fellow redbubble members Scott Denny and his father Tim. As usual I had an absolutely great time and was blown away at the beauty of the park. Along with the parks natural beauty comes a variety of wildlife that call the park home. We were able to see and photograph many of North Americas great animals including Buffalo, Pronghorn Antelope, Elk, Mountain Goats and the list goes on.
This Pronghorn Antelope was wandering around for a while so we could get some photos of him. Pronghorn are found in the western and central parts of the United States. They are the fastest land mammal in the U.S. and can reach speeds of 60 mph. A cheetah is a bit faster but can only sustain that speed for a very short time while a pronghorn can sustain that speed for a much longer time.
