I am a freelance TV cameraman, take stills in my spare time. I live in Dorset, England, and spend my spare time taking photographs of the Dorset coast.
I have a firm rule with my images, and that is NOT to crop anything, apart from perhaps levelling a horizon. The reason that I adopted this philosophy is that I believe the creation of the image should be from inception, rather than as an afterthought. Anyway, cropping wastes those expensive pixels…
