I drew this as a concept design for some freelance work. It wasn’t quite what the client was looking for but I really liked it. It’s an animal with a midsection that’s like a flute. I figured you’d blow on it’s back and music would issue forth from its mouth. It is multicolored and rabbit-eared. It is funny and playful.
The feeling of it is, I feel, dreamlike and comforting.
Prior to becoming a Teacher Aide, I learned to use the Adobe Creative Suite for Graphic Design at Clark University, then Computer Animation at the Rhode Island School of Design.
I have previously worked at Bright Horizons Family Solutions in Providence.
I feel my demeanor when interacting with children should be kind and playful, but firm when needed. When creating a design or illustration, I strive for balance even when making something asymmetrical.
