The Cathedral Rock formation in Sedona, Arizona covered in snow is a beautiful sight to behold! The low elevation means that the snow often melts off within a matter of hours meaning have to catch it while you can, early in the morning. The Red Rock Crossing area where this image was captured is wonderfully pleasant. The flowing water and beautiful views make it a highly popular spot & very rarely can you have it all to yourself as I did on this unforgettable morning.
This image was captured on February 9th, 2013 with a Canon 5D Mk II camera using a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L lens.
