The name’s Flyrod. American car culture is my thing. If it rolls, roars, or rumbles I’m into it. Statistics and facts aren’t my gig. My mission is to track down and capture the infamous rides that make up pop culture, and to tell their stories.
DREAM BIGa drive-by poem
They first caught my eye on a cold winter nightWhen the sky was awash in color so bright
Those great Northern Lights would paint the skyAs a man-made wonder came driving by
A bold new Apache Chevrolet truckThey broke the mold when this one was struck
One was an illusion and the other one was realMy infatuation I could not conceal
That truck turned me loose and set my soul freeThat four-wheeled goddess had a hold on me
On a cold winter night with a fire in the skyIn dreams that new pickup surely could fly
Science would explain that heavenly mysteryThat baffled mankind throughout our history
Imagination made real our want to be mobileNo longer bound, our reach is now global
If you can dream it you can build it tooThis is the advice that I have for you
Boldly go where no man has gone beforeWith eyes to the sky and pedal to the floor
Beautiful work once again. Just love it ;-) – Jeremy
