Through mirror finish and reflections in black
An elegant classic has found it’s way back

For turning heads and getting the stares
For richness and class nothing compares

A nineteen-fifty Oldsmobile ragtop
Gathers a crowd and makes them all stop

It takes them all down memory lane
When they were young and never felt pain

Washing and waxing bring out the shine
Nostalgia sparks thoughts of a better time

Wishing and hoping to bring it all back
The convertible Olds in basic black

The white of the tires and the gleam of the chrome
Your envious wish is to drive this one home

The reflections you see in that polished shine
A distant shadow it’s you in your prime

The dashboard radio is good for the sole
When it plays Mona Lisa by Nat King Cole

If you could go back how would you feel?
