PRAISE THE LOWERED a Drive-by Poem from Flyrod
From Casa Grande to the streets of East L.A.
Is the turf were the Lowrider’s all come to play
The Chicano way is to cruise it real slow
With smaller spoke wheels to keep it real low
A 48 Chrysler with hydraulic valves and pumps
With the flick of a switch this bad boy really jumps
A Buick Regal or Cutlass Supreme
Hasn’t the stuff like this old school machine
Monte Carlo’s and Impalas better beware
When the red 48 is coming down there
The Chrysler is smooth and fully decked out
With fender skirts and visor it’s got the clout
With metal flake paint and a campy style
Heads will be turning and giving a smile
Suicide doors and a continental tire
With a flathead motor that puts out some fire
A little gold trim and some LED lights
Keep this ride hopping through the East L.A. nights
A heart-pounding base from a powerful amp
Make the red 48 a boulevard champ.

My what a long nose you have Grandma! Great work as always!
We don’t have to many lowriders on the East Coast. I’m guessing you’ve had to pass a few in CA. Thanks Bill.
