It just arrived in the mailbox discreetly wrapped in brown paper. Your heart beats faster with anticipation. What gorgeous models will be exposed for your enjoyment is this month’s issue, you think to yourself. You carefully remove the wrapper revealing the exquisitely printed glossy masterpiece. It’s the finest magazine in the history of the world as far as you’re concerned, and maybe the best literary work of all time. That’s right, it’s the monthly issue of CARBOY magazine. Classy articles, great interviews, sophisticated humor; it’s got it all. But unlike most magazines that readers browse though from cover to cover, CARBOY readers open the magazine in the middle to unveil it’s trademark photograph, the centerfold. Each month a gorgeous sexy new model is revealed to stimulate every man’s fantasy. Boy would you like to get your hands on one of these honeys.
Your eyes are fully dilated as you part the slick pages. Your jaw drops when you first lay eyes on her. You’ve seen some real lookers in your day but they all take a backseat to this curvaceous delight. She’s the 1958 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop. Oh man, is she ever built! You just want to reach out and run your hands along those silky smooth fenders. And check out that set of headlights. Va Va Voom! What a shapely rear end too, you’re thinking. Like all CARBOY models see doesn’t reveal everything though, so you’ll just have to imagine what she’s got under the hood.
You’re thinking to yourself, “I’ll bet she’s and incredible ride”. But you’ll have to bag a lot of groceries and pump a lot of gas before she will be seen with the likes of you.
So stay motivated boy, and maybe someday you will land one just like her. In the mean time you’ll have to take satisfaction in knowing that the next issue will arrive in only thirty days. Life is better when you have something to look forward to, even if it’s just the next version of…The Centerfold.
