•THE STORY•
For those of you seeking the escape of a lunar vacation, may I recommend the comfort and style of a Rocket 88 Holiday Coupe? Like so many cars of the day, this 1961 Oldsmobile was loaded with aspirational styling driven by the space age. Space travel wasn’t just a dream in the post-war era; it was a clearly stated goal by a people who were not limited by boundaries. In perhaps the greatest mission statement ever written President Kennedy laid out a clear vision. He said “This nation should dedicate itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to Earth”.
Kennedy was a Democrat, but the actual Moon landing in 1969 occurred during a Republican administration. There was no partisanship, just Americans who dedicated themselves to achievement. Great goals are crafted through diverse ideas, but their achievement depends on united dedication. Second-guessing and partisan sniping hinder and destroy achievement.
Think about this in the context of America, and the World for that matter, today. We’ve been involved in wars that have never had a clear goal. How can you finish something if you’re not clear on why you started it? Where is the mission statement to solve the unemployment crisis? Where is the plan to curb the national dept? Where is the leadership that is willing to compromise in the interest of the people who elect them?
Don’t tell me “it can’t be done”! Walk out your door tonight and look to the sky. Look at that yellow crescent moon and remind yourself that somewhere on its surface there are footprints.
Start the engine; we’re going for a ride.

How can you finish anything when you are restricted from doing your best. All the smoke and mirrors (photoshop) only mask the true picture. Well put and processed.
Thank you Paul.
