It once was an elegant businessman’s coupe
A distinguished car for a selective group

Now resurrected from auto purgatory
To reign once again in all of its glory

You can rent it by the hour for a hundred dollar bill
To cruise the streets of Vegas and get yourself a thrill

The low-slung machine is a sight to behold
The want-to-be owners will keep it bankrolled

A lucent prowler like a crystal clear moon
A cadmium glow like a golden doubloon

Take it all in and pretend that you are famous
Like a chocolate chip cookie from the man named Amos

It was made in thirty-six, it’s a custom Ford Cruiser
Who will ever know that you are just a loser?

Make some heads turn and enjoy every minute
You’re the master of the road just as long as you are in it.

Burn a little rubber and make that engine roar
Who would ever guess that you are such a bore?

Drive it on back there’s another sucker waiting
For the thrill of a lifetime his cash it is baiting
