Paul, reading about Sepilok Centre and their compassionate work is uplifting. The illegal trade of wild creatures as pets brings great suffering along a conservation concern.

This sweet infant macaque tells all in her darling eyes. Precious moment captured.

In appreciation of your support of WWF.

  • Paul Grinzi replied

Thanks Carmen – the Centre does some wonderful work and speaking to the workers there brought the stories of success alive.

How on earth did you capture a shot like that ? It’s so amazingly beautiful XX

  • Paul Grinzi replied

Well … I got my relatives together …. only joking!

This was taken as Sepilok OrangUtang Sanctuary (in Borneo) – the monkeys had come in from the surrounding rainforest and were gathering around a ‘feeding station’ (where the younger Orang Utans were provided with some food whilst they ‘learn’ to fend for themselves). The rest took time, patience and a bit of nerve as there was a male nearby who was starting to get territorial and aggressive!

    Thanks for asking.
