Cathy Middleton
Oh my! Incredible shot.
Paul Grinzi replied
Thanks Cathy – the ‘real-life’ view was amazing. I think I captured the vastness of the vista, if you know what I mean. Thanks for commenting.
Cathy Middleton
Absolutely, did you wait for the right light or was it just perfect timing? It looks like the storm was iminent.
Paul Grinzi replied
I waited .. although the manner the clouds were whizzing by meant that I didn’t have to wait for too long. Within 15 minutes of capturing this image, this scene disappeared in cloud, and it was started raining. The moment had gone.

Paul Grinzi replied
I was lucky to have enough light to handhold tha camera. A tripod would have blown over!

This is breathtaking – MUST BE VIEWED LARGE to completely knock your socks off! I love how there is a soft glow from behind the top right grassy hill. I love the green tapestry and vastness. Marvelous – all images in this Challenge, tho few, are fabulous! Wales is STUNNING!
