Katydid
I found this Katydid today on this tree root. I used to be scared of these things when I was a kid because of the sound they made. They are very pretty though, and very full of color. Very cool little bugs.

Thank you Lori! Their wings are just like leaves. My wife and I were marveling over how much they do look like leaves. They are very cool little hoppers!
