Back home - enjoying the sun

At Friday 13th 2008 I got severe pain in my chest. I called the family doctor and before I knew I was laying in an ambulance driving with screaming sirens to the Saint Antonius Hospital. My wife Tine was sitting next to the ambulance driver and we were holding hands. I received an emergency treatment called percutaneo…

In the hospital
Dear RBers,
On behalf of Martin I am writing this message.
Martin has had a serious heart attack on Friday the thirteenth.
He was rushed to the hospital and survived thanks to the staff of The Saint Antonius Hospital in Holland. It is the best hospital for heart diseases.
He is slowly recovering and will hopefully come home before the weekend.
They will probably implant a pacemaker and the…

She decided to make a book with an impressive selection of her works. This amazing book also contains her intriguing picture ‘Secret Place’ and the poem I wrote inspired by this image. I consider…

Flyboy now airborne using his own name
Today I read Whirligig dicided to start using her real name, Elaine van Dyk . I was thinking about the same move for a while already. The fact that I am a Flyboy has not much to do with my RB activities anymore. So, I dicided to join Elaine in this action. I celebrate it with a new avatar. No worries, this won’t change anything. Flyboy is now the pilo…

Small Bubble meet
Yes. It is a small world. Today MaryO and I had the great pleasure to meet Antoine Dagobert in Nieuwegein. A small Bubble meet with a multicultural dimension. A man from Indonesia, an Aussi and a Dutchie sitting at one table and speaking about art, love and life. Good company and a good conversation. What more cou…

The meaning of 'Almost nothing'
I want to thank all of you for your beautiful comments on ‘Almost nothing’. You can’t imagine how I enjoyed reading your words and thoughts. The image provoked some speculating about the meaning of it, the symbolism in it and about the title. I truly think all your thoughts and ideas about what you saw are as ligitimate as mine are. But, to make this dialogue complete, I will try to explain my …
