Hello Flyboy! How are you? This is a brilliant image of claustrophobic proportions! No escape! Trapped! But the Dalai Lama says, ‘Everything changes, nothing stays still’. You can leave when you want to…..........Beautifully realised! Love it!
Martin Derksema replied
Thanks for your beautiful comment. Yes, the Dalai Lama is right. But have to work out some themes for a while … will leave later.
Marilyn Brown

Fits in a little bit with our private message exchange, Flyboy. Thanks for the push-along. Between you and the Dalai Lama!!.......... :) (The wind is blowing from a slightly different direction, again. Thank goodness nothing stands still!

Very ominous and dark, love the brick walls viewed from below and behind, as if to say “you really shut me up”. Hey, isn’t the title of … ??
Great work, Flyboy!
Elaine van Dyk
Very moving FlyBoy – extremely dark and scary. Keep up that powerful expression!
Deborah Parkin
This feels such a powerful image Martin – it feels almost too painful to look at – the dominance over the subservient is all consuming – i love the way we are looking through her legs – the way she is framing the man – he is totally at her mercy and it feels claustraphobic and i am will him out – he has to get out, this is not a good place to be. Beautiful, emotive and powerful work again Martin.

Such power you brought into your work. The colors themselves brings out the emotive feel of weakness, fear, and control all at once. Great work.
