You’re not crazy – it’s the rest of the world that is LOL!!! And you’re right – don’t look back – don’t drag those childhood demons with you – madvlad sums it up beautifully.
I love this Martin – i think it’s the best so far – ok i love black and white (and this is great b&w) but its those madness of those childhood images thrown around – there are those carousel horses popping up.
What shines out most though Martin is that you are there – present day – strong and bright – looking away from the madness. There is more light than dark. xxx

Most of us give to much thought to the past worry about the future and forget to live and enjoy the present-wonderful composition Martin.

Might be an idea to keep a record, Martin, if you plan to write memoirs. There’s already plenty to tell. I like accepting that the past cannot be altered and going through the scraps that represent the good times. (I need Kris Kristofersson, singing in the background now: For the Good Times!

Beautiful work and the b&w effect goes very well with the title - in my opinion, the past and future looks in b&w ….only the present is colourful :) ......love your work FLY BOY !!!:-)

I am impressed by the sense of foward movement conveyed by the you (the figure) and by the montage of childlike chaos you are leaving behind. Looks like it was a necessary process

You are not alone. That’s why we have artists and poets. We have to satisfy with the present.

“Here with a loaf of bread beneath the tree,
A cup of wine, a book of verse – and a good girl beside me singing in the wilderness –
    And wilderness is Paradise enough.”

A series of genuineness and talent. Great work. Beautiful, touching and inspiring. What else do we want from art?

    Joyce Dickens,...

This leaves so much to the imagination; and the placement of the young man (maybe you?)exiting the room is perfect; however I sincerely hope that he does in fact look back, for those moments in time are forever gone…...there is so much to see here, as if you are really looking into his memories….....the tones, the lighting and the subject matter are all perfect. Excellent work on this piece!
