Oil Kills (for light coloured tee)
Our society’s addiction to oil and oil based products is threatening the human race. Corporate greed is compromising human rights and the environment through pollution and global warming. Things must change before it’s too late.
This t-shirt is designed to quickly communicate the relationship between oil consumption and human suffering. The image of a hand gun and the use of the colour red represents blood and human suffering (so I would recommend a white t-shirt, but it still works on other colours). The fuel pump nozzle and use of black represents oil and petrol consumption. The link between the two items is the ‘trigger’, each of which is designed to be levered by the human finger.
Oil Kills (for light coloured tee) belongs to the following groups:

Great redux with the colours Frank – how does it look on a black tee ?
Frank Stillitano replied
Hmmmnnn I dunno, the black print gets a little lost and I think it is too important to the message for that. Have a look and let me know what you think. Works quite well on the dark grey though, I think.
sjem ©
Yeah dark grey is bestest. The black would probably print up really well, its just hard to show that over the internets.

fantastic tee shirt here…welldone
Juilee Pryor
actually I’d like to see it really small like a logo over the breast pocket area…. then it would look good on the darker shirts as well….. just a suggestion…....:)
yanmos

hello fellow SA person.
i love this design, and the oil kills title reminds me of that comedy company skit with Valvoline – and he drinks the stuff.

milts
great idea! i’d love to see some versions with different shapes of red for the t-shirt colour (making the gun a semi-hidden dark-red-on-red kind of affair)
Frank Stillitano replied
Yeah kind of like the fact that we encourage suffering everytime we fill our cars with petrol without actually knowing it…the gun is a little hidden in a way. Thanks for the feedback!

My name is slightly ironic too…

I have come across this T-Shirt here and there (on Redbubble) and every time I look at it I just think what an amazing statement you have made and portrayed it to perfection. It is truely brilliant. Well done. I may have to purchase it, as I am drawn to it.

Great ideas you have.
Bravo…
Frank Stillitano replied
The ideas come from my anger at the human race for selfishly trying to avoid dealing with climate change and other global issues. Thank you my friend.
