1.7 × 1.5 mtr

Chalk pastel on card.

This one was one of my school projects and was shown in a QLD student art exhibition ARTWAVES in 1996.

The meaning behind this one is that the man and woman’s head is turned in shame at what they have done to the earth and to mankind. They are also intertwined in eachother and into the earth to show what they are apart of (living on earth) however are ashamed of mankind’s behaviour and damage toward the living earth and all things.

Unfortunately this is a terrible shot – top and bottem is cut off. Will have to try again.
