Shield Bug by Hannah Sterry

Shield Bug by

A green shield bug drying out his wings in the sun.

This shield bug was found upside-down and waving his legs in the air, in a pool of water. I helped him out with a twig and he just posed like this! I fetched my camera and managed to get a few shots of him before he flew away. Amazing creature!

Picture taken in Devon, UK.
