great shOt !!! it’s been raning here all day and i di some pictures in a graveyard this morning that has a gothic look.this reminds me of that.i love these old structures.this is beautifully done.i like the contrast.the building is somewhat intimidating,however,the bench gives it a welcome feeling. i find the statue very interesting,do you know anything about it?

So are historic buildings like this. Its a huge huge building and yes very intimidating!!! But like you said the bench gives it a different feel!!!
I have no idea about that Eagle Statue I’m afraid!!! I think its like that lion in my other shot, their just there for show really. But I have to say the Eagle really adds to this!!! :D So I was happy it was there!!!
i have started posting them here and there.they are old gray cemetery.it was established in 1851.it is just a few blocks from my house.my wife thinks it’s creepy for me hanging out in a graveyard.haha she just doesn’t appreciate the art that is found there.i am glad we have this interest in common !!
Haha!!! I do be afraid everyone thinks I spend all my time in graveyards!!! Lol!!! But like you said there is so so much art found there!! :D I will definitely take a look at what you have posted!!! I too live beside a graveyard called Foxhall and it has a great history!!! =D
