I love fine art photography, I love snapshots, I love commercial stuff, foodie stuff… suffice it to say, I think photography is just amazing, period! You can time travel. You can prove (or disprove!) almost anything. You can evoke all sorts of messy emotions. It’s great fun.
The more I shoot away the more I realize – I don’t take pictures, pictures take me. “The Art” has definitely influenced how I view pattern, line, composition, and the world around me. My weapon of choice is an Olympus E500, and sometimes my Kodak EasyShare LS753. Usually I have a hard time deciding which I enjoy most – the actual capture of the images, or molesting them in post process.
Favorite Photographers: Jan Saudek, Guy Bourdin, Mary Ellen Mark, Sam Abell, Steve Eure, Cindy Sherman. An Asian minimalist whose name I’m kicking myself to remember. Richard Nixon (yes, he lives on at Red Bubble, haha).
