Dive Bomber Bee in Prickly Pear Bloom by

Macro of the Prickly Pear bloom. The sun was just right for the shot.
The pedals are a smooth waxy look and feel.

bloom, buds, cactus, prickly pear, thorns, yellow

I became interested in photography at an early age, focusing mostly on Macro images. Later, I expanded to a wider range of subjects after discovering the wonderful photographers on Redbubble.

I have been inspired by many excellent photographers here on Redbubble, and have found myself broadening my range in subjects. I do love Macro work, for it brings the small delicate details out in an image. Nature has become even more interesting when viewing it up close.
