Along the San Pedro River, Az by

The banks of the San Pedro River are full of these yellow wild flowers making it pleasant to look at.

The San Pedro is a river that was reversed by nature. A large earthquake (10 Magnitude) in the 1800’s just south of the border, caused this river to change its flow direction to north.

It is inhabited by Beavers, Deer, Mountains Lions, Skunk, Coyote and last but not least, rattlesnakes galore.

I became interested in photography at an early age, focusing mostly on Macro images. Later, I expanded to a wider range of subjects after discovering the wonderful photographers on Redbubble.

I have been inspired by many excellent photographers here on Redbubble, and have found myself broadening my range in subjects. I do love Macro work, for it brings the small delicate details out in an image. Nature has become even more interesting when viewing it up close.

It is great to see its beauty – without the rattlesnakes! My fave!

  • LOL, thank you. If you walk the river, the snakes are there. :)
