Tough-Nut Mine-Tombstone Az-Silver Mine 1880's by

This is a shot of the beams they use to reinforce the ceiling of rock while they mine the ore. If you look close on the lower left you can see some tourquoise along with other minerals. This is the first silver mine that started all the silver mining in Tombstone.
They mined silver, gold, gypson and more.

mine, silver, tombstone, tough nut

I became interested in photography at an early age, focusing mostly on Macro images. Later, I expanded to a wider range of subjects after discovering the wonderful photographers on Redbubble.

I have been inspired by many excellent photographers here on Redbubble, and have found myself broadening my range in subjects. I do love Macro work, for it brings the small delicate details out in an image. Nature has become even more interesting when viewing it up close.
