Seasons come and go by

Another seasons come and gone another broken heart.
Another night alone again without you by my side.
Another moon has passed us by and you so far away.
And here I lie in bed alone and you lie miles away.
I watch the years come and go they slowly pass me by.
As thoughts of you alone in bed with bars to hold you in.
I dream of you my love alone.
I dream of you alone my love as song birds sing to me.
As song birds sing a lovers tune of how it use to be.
Of nights spent in this very room with laughter in the air.
And you and I in love under the silver moon.
I hear the song they sing so clear I hear your voice too.
I hear you say the words I love to hear.
Honey I love you.
I lie here nights alone my choice not yours to make.
You’ve told me time and time again to go and find new love.
But no my dear my heart is yours these memories hold you near.
And as the song birds sing out loud I hear you sing with them.
Here within this small room are memories filled with love.
Here within these walls we shared all that we had.
Here within this warm bed you showed me how to love.
How could I turn and walk away when all I felt was here with you.
I miss the comfort of you here.
I miss the touch of you.
I miss the laughter in the room and songs I sung with you.
But as the song birds sing our tune I sing along with them.
And as the seasons come and go my love remains the same.
Until I hear our song no more I’ll love you till the end.
And come one day you will return and we will love again.
