Mainly Iron work with some stylus & brush head additions on A5 card. A piece for Halloween.

Deep in the subterranean cavern, is the lair of the wizard. The cavern is vast, with archways each side leading to numerous passages & caves. At one end stands a pool of crystal clear water, reflecting the walls & acting as a scrying vessel for the wizard. He stands above on a rocky outcrop, ready to speak his wisdom to any who dare approach.

Since Sept. 2012 my artwork has focused solely on creating fractals using Apophysis 7. I love the connection & interplay between maths & art & the end results can be a wonderful mix of light, colour & imagination. There is an exhibition of my work here throughout May during Gallery opening hours. There is also an open evening on 10th May 7pm til 9pm. If you are in the area, you would be most welcome to join me, drinks & nibbles provided.

The perspective on this is quite extraordinary Anne! You feel like you’re actually in the beautiful lair…..a bit apprehensive waiting to hear what the wizard has to say…………………………… :o !!

This is brilliant! Half of me wants to follow the wizard into his lair…..the other half wants to run like hell! Really good work!

Thanks everyone, this turned out far better than I anticipated though the colour is a bit bluer on here than the original which is much more purple.

This started out as a glimmer of an idea, & turned into this, I still see new things when I look at it.
