Neat shot. Now how do I tell you that you have a small problem. No its nothing to do with the shot. Its your idea that a photograph should come out of the camera untouched & ready to print.
That is so wrong. Pro photographers past & present don’t or very rarely manage that trick. Past & pressent, dodging burning push processing all happanened & continue to happen today. The darkroom was & still is the place where the real work happens. The darkroom is still alive & well. Its just moved into the pc. Dont ruin a photograph by rejecting it if it doesn’t light up your world straight out of the camera. Even a simple crop is image editing. If you dont even crop your work your missing the whole creative concept of photography. Pure photography is a wooden box with a pin hole & a glass plate. We’ve moved on. Editing an image isn’t cheating, it requires skill & knowledge. photography is an artistic creative process. Don’t stop at the pushing of the shutter release button. Otherwise the camera manufacturer will get all the credit. All you did was point & shoot. Unless of course your camera was on manual & you worked out & set all the settings. The camera is only part of the bigger picture. You & your imagination are the biggest part.
