    This reminds me of a photo I took at Warwick (probably the similar weather). You might expand on your notes for those of us ignorant of English history (in the US). Just naming the location would be enough probably. The photo is excellent, and I love the way you set up the composition.The green so brilliant against the blues and purples of the background and sky. Lovely!

  • I will expand here, so people can credit you! – This is Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire, which is now a ruined Abbey. This abbey dates to about 1150, but fell to ruin after the building work stopped in 1539. The building work was stopped because King Hnery VIII split from Cathlic Rome, inorder to re-marry (Again), hence the recent film – “The other Boleyn Girl” by sony pictures with Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson. There we go… nearly 1000 years in 1 paragraph!
